Selections of Recent Work.
THE TAMING OF THE SHREW I was privileged to direct a phenomenal group of students as part of Alabama Shakespeare Festival's "Shakespeare in our Schools" initiative — an academically challenging and artistically rigorous nine-week production process featuring students from within Montgomery Public Schools system. During the process, students rehearse, activate creativity, tackle heightened language, and collaborate with their peers to build community.

ROOM TO SPARE An original play written and directed by me; my first original work. The play is a modern farce that tells the story of a smart young couple and their immensely dysfunctional in-laws. With quirky personality traits, ticks, and trauma, it's like a game of party guests from hell that drives them both over the edge! This piece was selected for a staged workshop production in the Emerging Voices Festival - 2020.

MACBETH As Theatre Director for Troy City Schools, I was privileged to direct the first Shakespeare play — Macbeth — in the program's history. All of the technical aspects were designed and built by the students, who went on to compete and win awards in the areas of design, tech, and performance in district and state theatre competitions for the production.
ALMOST, MAINE These students successfully navigated a very short rehearsal process just weeks after returning to school from the Covid-19 pandemic. I was particularly impressed with their creativity, determination to stay well, follow protocols, and finish the production. All of the technical elements were designed and built by the students.
